Google Toolbar のログインが出来なくなった件
Firefox 7β版で、サポート外*1の "Google Toolbar" を強制的*2に使用していましたが、遂にログインが出来なくなった。
先日、サポートの終了を発表した "Google Desktop" から、強制的*3に "Windows Sidebar" へ変更したばかりなのに…。
慣れ親しんだ、"Google Toolbar" の継続使用を諦め、代替えとして Firefox のアドオンを試行錯誤していたところ、下記のような書き込みを発見。
Go inside the "lib" directory and you will see the toolbar.js file.
Open up toolbar.js with a decent editor.
Find:
www.google.com/accountsand replace ALL with:
accounts.google.com
"toolbar.js" をテキストエディタで開き、"www.google.com/accounts" を "accounts.google.com" に置き換えるだけ。
"toolbar.js" の場所 (Windows XP の場合) C:\Documents and Settings\***(ユーザー名)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*****.***\extensions\{3112ca9c-de6d-4884-a869-9855de68056c}\lib\toolbar.js
サポート外なので、また何時使えなくなるかわかりませんが、無事ログイン出来ました。
Firefoxのアドオンから同等な機能を見つけ出すまで対応できるとありがたいのだが…。
